spike that!Kinda surprise that i would talk about Volleyball in my post? Hahaha. You are wrong. Im talking it right now. Serious business yea. Lol. It been a long time since i've those rush of feelings in me in the court. Is it a good thing or a bad thing?
My interest had flew away ever since VolleySports(a team name) didnt participate in the upcoming U19 competition. It led me further away from the world of Volleyball. My interest in Volleyball started when i was in secondary 1 in Shuqun Secondary. My coach groom and brought me into the world of Volleyball. This path was never easy for me. Sweats, blood, tears, perseverance, patience, the price to pay when you neglect your studies for Volleyball, unhappiness and glory were all filled during my glory years.
I've learnt so much things from Volleyball. Right attitude brings you far. For example: When you are having a match and your score is 15 and the opponent is 21. Normal people would definitely say we will lose. But carrying the Right attitude, you will never know you would outbeat them. Have a calm mind to think what to do when the ball is at your hand or expecting those unexpected balls. Then you wont let the chance of scoring slip away. Helping each other when they faced problems during training. Team work is a key factor. Without it, you wont accomplish far. You need someone to receive, set and spike. There is no 1 man show. Everyone is equal and you must have the trust in your team mates.
Suddenly i've so much inspirations to blog because i've a good time from my training just now. I've never felt that for so long. The feeling is so nice. The heat in you is burning and the momentum is there. It felt so right. :D
Eliz, i hope you would climb to your gloriest period in NYP. Set a new goal. (: You rocks my socks! I totally love it when i was in the same team with you!
